These women helped lay the foundation for what Leadership Clarksville is today.

Dee Boaz, then Editor of The Leaf Chronicle, played a pivotal role in the creation of Leadership Clarksville in 1987, alongside Jim Mann, President of First Federal Savings Bank. Their vision and dedication launched a program that continues to shape the future of community leadership in Clarksville.

Carole Dorris retired in 2021 after serving as Executive Director for many years, leaving an incredible mark on the organization. Her leadership, passion, and guidance helped grow the program for over three decades, shaping hundreds of graduates into more informed, engaged community leaders.

Leadership Clarksville is proud to celebrate Dee and Carole’s lifelong commitment to empowering others and making our community stronger. This recognition is richly deserved, and we are honored to have them as a lasting part of our story.
