CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Youth Leadership Clarksville proudly celebrates the graduation of 34 students from the Class of 2026, recognizing a group of young leaders who have spent the past year learning about the people, organizations, and industries that shape the Clarksville-Montgomery County community.
Through a series of immersive program days, students explored key sectors and community issues while developing leadership skills and civic awareness. Program topics included Fort Campbell, Agriculture & Urban Planning, Arts & Entertainment, Leadership Development, Small Business & Industry, Health, Media, Religion, and Communications
Throughout the program, participants engaged with local leaders, businesses, nonprofit organizations, educators, and community partners to gain firsthand insight into the opportunities and challenges facing the region. Students also strengthened skills in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and servant leadership.
“Youth Leadership Clarksville continues to invest in the future of our community by helping students better understand the world around them and encouraging them to become engaged, informed leaders,” said Michael Kasitz, Executive Director of Leadership Clarksville. “The Class of 2026 demonstrated curiosity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to learning throughout the program year.”
Youth Leadership Clarksville is designed to inspire and prepare high school students for leadership roles in their schools, workplaces, and communities. The program provides participants with experiences that broaden perspectives and encourage civic involvement.
Leadership Clarksville extends its appreciation to the many community partners, presenters, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make this year’s program possible.
